The clubhouse features banquet facilities for 250+ guests, panoramic views of the golf course. About the Chef: Chef Bill Jump
Originally from a small farming town in Illinois, Yorkville, Bill Jump attended the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, CA where he obtained his degree in Culinary Arts. While attending school Bill worked for the Ritz Carlton Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena. During his time there he worked in the banquet arena as well as the fine dining restaurant. He then began working his way up in the kitchen and soon became Jr. Sous Chef for the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach and was soon promoted to Sous Chef within six months.
Bill worked for Hyatt nearly 10 years working at three different locations, Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, Century Plaza and Irvine where he was promoted to Executive Sous Chef. He helped the Hyatt Regency Irvine win the award for Culinary Team of the Year in 2011.
In 2015 Bill became the Executive Chef of the Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda, CA. Bill is constantly learning and growing in the culinary world and loves to use the fresh ingredients that California has to offer. When Bill is not in the kitchen he is spending time with family and cooking his son’s favorite meal, pancakes.
