  The SCGA uses GHIN, a national handicap system to maintain handicaps for players throughout the year.  In order to receive the $36 price you must be a Black Gold Players Club Member.  For non-Players Club Members the price is $65 and to purchase please call the Black Gold Pro Shop at 714.961.0060.  
The SCGA Handicap is a calendar year program and needs to be renewed annually.  To ensure that members do receive uninterrupted service of their handicaps at the start of the new year, registration deadline is December 12.
